We are honored to have been named the “People's Choice Startup of the Year” at the 2026 French American Business Awards (San Francisco) hosted by the French American Chamber of Commerce, California.

The recognition is particularly meaningful given the stature of the French American Business Awards. Established in 2014, FABA honors the most innovative and impactful French-American companies, entrepreneurs, and executives in California. The awards are organized by the French American Chamber of Commerce, California, which has spent nearly five decades fostering business relationships and cross-border collaboration between France and California.

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that we were chosen by the audience. Attendees voted for their favorite startup by making a donation, a fun way for the voters to give funny money to their favorite demo. Thanks to their generosity, Avatar Medical received enough support to take home the “People's Choice” distinction.

We're grateful to everyone who voted and supported our mission to improve communication between physicians and patients through immersive medical visualization.
