The use of patient-specific 3D imaging avatars in neurosurgical outpatient clinics aims to improve patient understanding and engagement. Visualization of peri-operative anatomy using a virtual reality platform reconstructed from CT and MRI data enhances communication during pre- and post-operative consultations, supporting patient education and involvement in clinical decision-making.
