Hyperaccuracy Three-Dimensional Model and Augmented Reality/Mixed Reality for Robot-Assisted Retroperitoneal Lymph Node Dissection in Testicular Cancer
This case report evaluates the feasibility of Avatar Medical's hyperaccuracy 3D (HA3D) modeling with augmented reality in robot-assisted retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (R-RPLND) for testicular cancer. Built from contrast-enhanced CT and integrated into both preoperative planning and intraoperative AR navigation, the model enabled precise identification of a critical renal arterial branch adjacent to the tumor, supporting a dissection completed in 76 minutes with minimal blood loss and no complications. Nine-month follow-up showed no recurrence, demonstrating how HA3D visualization can enhance precision and safety in complex robotic urologic surgery.

Management of ischiopagus twin separation with a focus on W–S incision design
Ischiopagus twins share parts of the spine, central nervous system, gastrointestinal and genitou-rinary tracts with various degrees of severity. Their separation is a surgical challenge. From the perspective of the plastic surgeon, one of the straightforward technical problems of conjoined twin separation is the coverage of the large residual parietal defects determined by the initial skin incisions. This report provides a description of relevant incision design strategies for ischiopagus separation in order to minimize morbidity related to coverage issues, especially in the abdominal and perineal regions.
